Message before you come. Not because we turn people away, but because a Chihuahua puppy sleeps most of the day and we would rather you arrived when the dogs are awake and sociable than stood over a sleeping crate. A quick WhatsApp lets us tell you when is good.
Bring the people who will live with the dog, children included. Meeting a Chihuahua is the fastest way to find out whether a two-kilogram dog that wants to be on your lap all evening is the dog your household actually wants. Nobody has ever regretted spending twenty minutes on the floor with one first.
We are an AVS-licensed shop, licence AS24J00046, and you are welcome to check that on the AVS public registry before you visit. We would rather you did.
Before you visit

- Allow 30–45 minutes, not 10
- Ask to see the licence, and we will show it
- No appointment fee, no deposit to meet a dog
What to expect when you message
We will ask what kind of home the dog is going to: flat or landed, who is there during the day, whether there are young children or another dog already. That is not a screening interview to get past. A Chihuahua is a devoted, people-bonded dog that does badly left alone all day, and it is better for everyone to find that out in a message than six months later.
We will tell you honestly what is available. If nothing right now suits what you have described, we will say so rather than steer you onto whichever dog we happen to have. Waiting a few weeks for the right match is normal here.
We will not entertain a "teacup" request. If that is what you are after, we would rather explain why in a message than sell you something. There is a whole page on it, and it is the most-read page on this site for a reason.
And we will not chase you. One reply, and then it is your move. If you go quiet we assume you are thinking, not that you need another nudge.
