What are the terms of buying from Chihuahua.sg?
The guides here are information, not veterinary advice. Prices ($4,288–$4,888 all-in) and availability are indicative until confirmed in person: we never sell a dog sight-unseen. Included at that price: starter kit, delivery and playpen setup, your first AVS licence, and a training lesson. We refuse to sell teacup or double-merle Chihuahuas at any price. Singapore law governs; raise any problem with us first at +65 8220 6408.
Who you are dealing with
Chihuahua.sg is a website operated by Curious Tails, an AVS-licensed pet shop in Singapore. The licence is AS24J00046 and it is verifiable on the AVS public registry of licensed pet shops. The company registration is 202420075D; that is a company number, not a pet shop licence, and we never present it as one.
Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Buying a dog from us is a separate agreement made in person at 2 Balestier Road #01-701, Singapore 320002, and these terms sit alongside it rather than replacing it.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Singapore law that cannot be limited by agreement, including your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.

The content on this site is not veterinary advice
We write these guides carefully, we date them, and we say where our numbers come from. They are still general information about the breed, not advice about your dog. A Chihuahua with a symptom needs a veterinarian who can examine it, not a web page.
That matters more for this breed than most. Hypoglycaemia in a young toy-breed puppy, a collapsing trachea, a luxating patella and dental disease are all conditions where the right move is a vet, quickly. If anything you read here makes you worry about a specific dog, treat that as a prompt to call a vet, not as a diagnosis.
We correct errors when we find them and re-date the page. We do not guarantee that every guide is complete or current at the moment you read it, and we are not liable for a decision taken purely on the basis of a page here without professional advice.
Prices, availability and what is included
Our published range is $4,288–$4,888, all-in. "All-in" means what it says: the starter kit, home delivery and playpen setup, the first AVS licence filed for you, and an AVS-certified training lesson are included at that price, not bolted on afterwards.
Prices and the puppies shown are indicative. Availability changes as dogs are placed, and a specific dog is only yours once it is confirmed with us directly. We do not hold a dog on the strength of a web page view, and we do not raise a price because a particular dog turns out to be popular.
We do not charge a premium for a rare colour, and we do not price by head type. A deer-head Chihuahua is not a discount dog and a merle is not a luxury one. Where we offer merle at all it is from a health-screened single-merle pairing; we refuse double-merle breeding outright.
Payment terms, any deposit, and what happens if you change your mind are agreed with you in person before money changes hands. We would rather have that conversation face to face than bury it in a clause here.

What we refuse to sell
We do not sell a "teacup", "micro" or "pocket" Chihuahua, we do not breed for one, and we will not take an enquiry that insists on one. Those words describe an undersized dog, not a variety, and the undersizing carries real consequences: hypoglycaemia, fragile bones, dental crowding, a shorter life. There is no price at which we will supply one.
We do not sell double-merle. We do not sell a dog to a household that tells us it wants to keep it outdoors, and we do not sell into an HDB flat that already holds an approved dog, because the one-dog rule applies whether or not anyone is checking.
We will decline a sale if, having met you, we do not think the match is right for the dog. That is a judgement we reserve, and it is not negotiable by paying more. It applies both ways: you are free to walk away at any point before purchase, and we would rather you did than take home a dog you are unsure about.
There is no price at which we will sell you a teacup Chihuahua. The word describes an undersized dog, and undersizing a toy breed has a cost the dog pays.
Using the site itself
The text, photographs and guides on https://chihuahua.sg are ours. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish a whole guide, scrape the site to train a model, or reuse our photographs commercially without asking us first, and if you ask we will usually say yes.
You agree not to use the site to send us anything unlawful, to attempt to break it, or to misrepresent yourself in an enquiry. Enquiries made under a false identity are the one category we will decline without discussion.
We link to third-party sites (AVS, HDB, veterinary sources) because we would rather you check our claims than take our word. Those sites are not ours and we are not responsible for what they say or do.
The site is provided as it is. We aim to keep it available and accurate, and we do not promise it will never be down or never contain an error.
Governing law, and how to raise a problem
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If something has gone wrong, tell us first. WhatsApp +65 8220 6408 or email hello@curioustails.sg, and a person who can actually do something about it will answer. We are a small licensed shop, not a call centre, and the fastest route to a fix is almost always a direct message.
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date below and the current version governs from that point. We will not apply a changed term retrospectively to a purchase already made.

In our climate the risk that surprises new owners is cold, not heat. A Chihuahua's low body mass and thin coat mean the aircon is the hazard here.
