A Chihuahua from Curious Tails is $4,288–$4,888 all-in. Not "from", then a staircase of add-ons at the counter: all-in. The chihuahua price in Singapore is one of the murkier numbers in the local pet market, scattered by imports, packaging tricks and, worst of all, the "teacup" premium, so we publish ours and itemise it.
The exact figure inside our range depends only on the individual litter, never on the label. Smooth coat or long coat, apple head or deer head, fawn, cream or merle: it is one band. There is no rare-colour premium here, because charging more for a colour is one of the things this breed market gets wrong.
Every puppy in that price arrives the same way: vet health check completed, vaccinations at weeks 6 and 8 (with week 12 and an optional week 16 to follow), dewormed at every visit, microchip, with breed identification papers.

Why quoted Chihuahua prices scatter, and the teacup trap
Three things scatter the market. First, packaging: a "cheap" quote that excludes vaccinations, microchip, licence and supplies quietly climbs by hundreds within the first month, while a published all-in figure looks dearer precisely because it is honest. Second, imports: a dog flown in carries costs a locally-raised litter does not, passed through unevenly.
Third, and most damaging, the teacup premium. This is the one to watch. Sellers charge MORE for a dog advertised as "teacup", "micro" or "pocket", which is the economics exactly backwards: a smaller-than-standard Chihuahua is not rarer or better, it is more fragile and more prone to hypoglycemia, dental crowding and a shorter life. You are being asked to pay a premium for a higher-risk dog. We refuse the label, and we price every healthy, correctly sized Chihuahua the same.

The cheap Chihuahua that costs the most
A sick puppy from an unlicensed source can pass $10,000 in vet bills and still not survive. That is the worst version of a pattern vets here see repeatedly: puppies moved too young, unvaccinated, stressed through transport, sold through channels that stop replying the moment symptoms start.
The protection is boring and structural: buy from an AVS licensed shop. Our licence, AS24J00046, is verifiable on the AVS public registry in about thirty seconds, and it binds us to sourcing, welfare and record standards that an ad with a burner number simply is not bound by.
The licence is also why our floor price cannot chase the smuggled market's, and we consider that a feature, not a flaw.
Before you pay anyone for a Chihuahua

What a Chihuahua costs after day one
The purchase price is the entry fee, not the subscription, but here the after-costs look different from a big dog. Food is genuinely cheap: a Chihuahua eats a fraction of what a large breed does, perhaps $30 to $60 a month of good food. Grooming is light for a smooth coat and modest for a long coat.
The real recurring cost of this breed is dental care. The tiny jaw crowds a full set of teeth, so home brushing plus periodic vet dental cleanings, which are done under anaesthetic and can run into the low-to-mid hundreds each time, are part of owning one honestly. Budget for teeth the way a big-dog owner budgets for food. It is the single most-skipped Chihuahua cost, and skipping it is expensive later.
The licence itself is small money with a sterilised twist worth knowing: $13.50 a year for a puppy under five months, $81 a year for an unsterilised dog over five months, but back to $13.50 a year, or $35 once for life, when sterilised. Sterilisation conversations typically happen around month seven, and the licence maths quietly rewards it.

If we have a match, come and meet the litter at 2 Balestier Road #01-701 in Balestier, weekdays 12 to 6pm and weekends 10 to 6pm; there is no charge and no obligation for a visit.
When you decide, payment is made at the shop in one sitting, we file the licence and paperwork there and then, and delivery is scheduled around week 9, usually within days. A small deposit can hold a specific puppy after you have met it; we do not take deposits for puppies you have never seen. Instalment arrangements are occasionally possible, ask us directly rather than assuming either way.
And the promise that backs all of it: if within five days the match is genuinely wrong, bring the puppy back. With a dog that may share the next sixteen years of your life, we would far rather refund a purchase than have a Chihuahua spend that time in a home that regrets it. That, plus a care advice line that keeps answering long after the invoice, is what the all-in price actually buys.
An honest price is not the lowest number, and it is certainly not the highest one with "teacup" attached. It is the number with nothing hiding behind it.
